ECO COMMUNITY FUND
Working together to build stronger, healthier communities
The charitable arm of Eco Chefs™, the Eco-Community Fund is a grass-roots program driven by our customers and community.
This year, the Eco-Community Fund has donated over $10,000.00 in funds and Eco Chefs™ meals to such charities as:
Sponsors Halton Food for Thought breakfast programs at two local schools
Donate Eco Chefs™ meals daily to Food for Life, Halton Region’s charitable organization that collects prepared meals and distributes to shelters and organizations most in need. We share Food for Life’s belief that no man, woman or child should have to go to bed hungry while food is being wasted in our landfills
Donate foods and time to Environmental events to raise awareness about our environment and local foods.
Raised $1500 via Team Eco Chefs™ in the CIBC Run for the Cure, benefiting the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation
Donated Eco Chefs™ products to the Canadian Cancer Society for Relay for Life
By donating funds, Eco Chefs™ products and volunteering time to various initiatives, we’re working together with our customers, staff and suppliers to fulfill our mandate to build stronger, healthier communities.
